SUPPORT & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Prime Market login screen with security captcha and PGP verification

So, something went wrong. Maybe your package didn't arrive, maybe the product was... "incorrect," or maybe you just locked yourself out of your account because you thought "password" was a clever password. Whatever the case, we have systems in place.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not offer support for "how do I buy Bitcoin?" Go ask Google. We are here to facilitate trade, not teach Intro to Crypto 101.

THE DISPUTE MECHANISM

Disputes are handled via a three-way chat system involving:

  1. The Buyer (You)
  2. The Vendor (Them)
  3. The Moderator (Us)

Most issues are resolved without us stepping in. But if you can't agree, a moderator will review the evidence. And by evidence, we mean actual proof, not just "trust me bro."

Common Dispute Conditions:

Potential Outcomes:

Outcome Description
Unfrozen Funds released to vendor (claim rejected)
Refunded Funds returned to buyer (claim accepted)
AF Timer Extended More time granted for shipping/delivery

VENDOR & ACCOUNT SUPPORT

Prime Market registration form requiring username, password and captcha

For vendors, we offer dedicated support channels because your problems usually involve larger sums of money. If you are applying for a vendor account, ensure you have read the requirements on the About page.

Lost Accounts: If you lost your password, use your Mnemonic Key. If you lost your Mnemonic Key, use your Account Secret. If you lost both... well, thanks for the donation to the market escrow pool. (Kidding, sort of. We really can't help you without those.)

CONTACT METHODS

Ticket System: Accessible from your dashboard. Response time: 24-48 hours.
Jabber/XMPP: prime_support@jabber.calyxinstitute.org (PGP Encrypted chat only)
Forum: Check the "Support" section on the Prime Market forum.

SECURITY WARNINGS

NEVER share your mnemonic or account secret with support staff. We will NEVER ask for it.

If someone claiming to be admin asks for your private keys, you are being phished. Congratulations on spotting it. If you didn't spot it, I'm sorry for your loss.
